Project Manager: North America
Hudson Shipping Lines, Inc., a worldwide leader in supply chain management, is seeking a Project Manager to join our north suburban Chicago office.
Project Managers oversee the strategy, planning, and execution of international supply chain management projects. A successful Project Manager must be able to coordinate personnel and assets across oceans and continents in a way that achieves results for the company and its clients. Project Managers must therefore liaise between customers, upper management, and other company resources to ensure customer cargoes are transported efficiently and effectively.
Success at this position requires excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to travel. Candidates must be highly organized and results oriented, with a strong grasp of world geography and the supply chain management industry. All candidates must be fluent in spoken and written English with other language skills not required but favored. The position requires 5 years’ supply chain management experience with a focus on international dry bulk shipping preferred. U.S. Citizenship required.
