  • Chartering Executive: Singapore

  • Hudson Shipping Lines, Inc., a full service supply chain management specialist for dry bulk commodities, is seeking a candidate to fill a chartering executive position in its Singapore location. The preferred candidate should have 2-5 years’ experience in dry bulk chartering activities working in Handymax, Supramax or Panamax Pacific segments for a principal or broker.

    This position requires a pro-active, task driven individual who can work efficiently under pressure. The successful candidate will have strong verbal and written skills in English and will be an energetic, analytical thinker with strong communication and negotiation skills. Fluency in other languages would be a plus but is not required. In addition, the candidate must have the ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships. The candidate should be a Singapore citizen/permanent resident or hold a current/valid work permit.

  • IT Support Specialist: North America/Caribbean

  • Candidate must be flexible, able to work independently, and must be detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. This is an in-office role providing hands-on and limited remote support. Proficiency is expected with Windows OS (7 & 10) and Microsoft Office Suites. Demonstrable experience with desktops, laptops, printers, is an extremely useful as well.

    The successful candidate will be able to support end users for all MS Office applications and specialized software; to install and maintain end-user IT equipment; and will have experience in setting up email accounts and managing passwords. Web development and/or marketing skills are a plus, including HTML, CSS, Experience with Content Management Systems (Drupal/WordPress), and any/all image manipulation skills as well.

    Education & Technical Background (Preferred):

    • Completed or pursuing a degree in computer information systems, computer science, software engineering or a related discipline.
    • MCSA or MCP
    • A+ Certification
    • Hands-on Help Desk Experience
