NBA Great Luol Deng’s Visit Leads to Slam Dunk Team-Up!

The Hudson Group was honored to welcome former Chicago Bull, 2x NBA All-Star, Olympian, and philanthropist Luol Deng to our offices.  Along with MATTER Vice President of Business Development, Jacob Ross, Deng shone a light on the trailblazing work the Luol Deng Foundation (LDF) is accomplishing in South Sudan and beyond.

Moved by this visit, Hudson Shipping Lines has teamed up with LDF, making a meaningful contribution to advance the organization’s initiatives.

Established during Deng’s rookie year with the NBA’s Chicago Bulls in 2005, the LDF has since expanded its reach from local to global campaigns, utilizing basketball as a tool to connect with youth, champion education, and inspire confidence.  With a focus on Deng’s home country of South Sudan, the U.K., and the U.S., the Luol Deng Foundation “creates pathways to opportunity through sport and development”.

As longtime supporters of the Chicago Bulls, the Hudson Group is thrilled to once again find ourselves in such good company! The Bulls, which named Deng as a team ambassador, support his foundation’s work.
